Artist's Description
Charles (CM) Russell, the “cowboy artist”, created more than 2,000 paintings of cowboys, Indians, and landscapes set in the Western United States. He lived and worked among the cowboys and the Blood Indian tribe in his younger years. This painting is called “Innocent Allies” and depicts 3 saddled horses standing on a ridge and watching a stagecoach hold on the road below.
